Had a wonderful evening learning about Jamaican cuisine. It was so interesting to find out about ingredients such as salt fish and how to cook them. Chef was informative and witty which made the demonstration very entertaining. It was great to see a professional chef working at close hand – we were impressed with his skills and how he could produce four dishes in an hour . We learnt that the dishes could be made at home – but we also felt very inspired to visit Rice and Things and try out more Jamaican food.
The hall was filled with delicious aromas and the food tasted as good as it smelt! It was food to make you smile and warm your insides!
